Zinc Selenide is the most popular material for infrared applications in high power CO₂ lasers.   Our CVD ZnSe grown with special grain size control technique is very stable under thermal shock and harsh environment. It has transmission range from 0.5 to18μm and very low absorption at 10.6μm with the bulk absorption coefficient less than 5×10^-4cm^-1.
