About Us

Mirrors are made from polished optical surfaces with thin film dielectric or metallic coating to achieve high reflectivity. The actual reflecting surface of Metal Mirror is usually a thin coating of silver, gold or aluminum on glass, Si or Ge.

We make high quality mirrors for IR application. Protected Gold, silver, and aluminum metallic coatings offer high reflectivity over a wide range of wavelengths. We recommend gold coated mirrors for use exclusively in the IR, silver for use in the visible to the IR, aluminum for use in the UV/visible to the IR.

Our protected gold coating is made by using a proprietary protective overcoat, which allows >96% average reflection from 800 nm to 20 μm.
